Petersville Primary benefits as Team RUBIS St. Vincent supports education to invest in the future

Investing in future generations continues to be the thrust of RUBIS’ ongoing support for educational institutions in St. Vincent.

The students of Petersville Primary School became the most recent beneficiaries when they were recently presented with equipment to assist in their educational pursuits, including a laptop, printer and supplies. The students also received backpacks and books compliments of Team RUBIS.

In making the presentation, RUBIS Country Representative, Elroy Edwards, acknowledged Petersville’s contribution to offering quality education to the nation’s children. He said the donation signifies a strong partnership between RUBIS and schools in St Vincent and the Grenadines, stating, “We believe in investing in the future generation and are proud to provide Petersville Primary School with the necessary resources to facilitate learning and academic excellence. This is a testament to our continued support of education in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.” Mr. Edwards added that such donations helped the school in its mission and were paramount to students’ success.

The school, which celebrates its 60th anniversary next year, was founded by Edna Peters and is now led and managed by Roselyn Peters. Deputy Headteacher of Petersville, Elizabeth Kelly expressed gratitude to RUBIS, noting that printing materials were very expensive. “Your contribution will go a very long way in assisting both students and teachers,” Ms. Kelly said.
