Ross RUBIS excels in customer service – Guyana

Each year the RUBIS Customer Pulse program recognizes and rewards the top two RUBIS service stations for achieving excellence in customer service throughout the year. Service standards are measured by mystery shoppers who visit the station twice per quarter to observe and assess the quality of service offered by staff. In Guyana, the teams of Ross, Ruimveldt and Mahaica RUBIS Service Stations, attained first and second place respectively in this coveted award for 2022.

The team at Ross RUBIS Service Station has topped the list on three occasions since joining the RUBIS network in 2018, achieving first place on two occasions and second place once. Each achievement drives them to go above and beyond, giving their best to customers. This is the first occasion that the team from Mahaica RUBIS has won the award under the current Retailer Samdeo Singh who also joined Team RUBIS in 2018.

Coretta Ross Hopkinson, Retailer at Ross RUBIS Service Station on receiving the award said, “We wish to thank our team members who diligently ensured service always came first. We sincerely appreciate the support provided by Rhonda Johnson and Earl Anthony from RUBIS who never cease being our champions. Our customers can be assured when you come to Ross RUBIS you are family.”

Joylyn Johnson, RUBIS Retail Accounts Executive, congratulated the awardees. “It is quite heartening to see stations in Guyana striving to attain a benchmark of customer service excellence. Ross and Mahaica RUBIS Service Stations achieved this sterling performance due to their passion to enhance their customer service experience, the active role played by supervisors in driving the process, the desire of staff to be outstanding in the delivery of customer service and a collective effort to get it right.”

On behalf of RUBIS Mrs Johnson thanked the retailers and staff of these two stations for their hard work. “We also appreciate the significant effort made by the other stations towards improving their customer service. I encourage each retail team to continue to improve your customer service delivery. In 2023 we look forward to more robust competition amongst the stations.”
