RUBIS Grenada assists Grand Mal Pre Primary School meals programme with freezer

The students of the Grand Mal Pre Primary School will be better served by their meals programme following the acquisition of a large 7 cubic ft. chest freezer donated by RUBIS.

Angele Alexander, teacher in charge, thanked RUBIS for its support of the Programme which is administered by the Ministry of Education. She said the contribution from the fuel company would significantly enhance the capabilities of the programme, with regard to the storage of meats and other perishable items.

“This programme provides hot, healthy and nutritious meals daily for the children, and this donation will go a long way in ensuring that the needs of the students served by our school feeding programme are met. Thank you RUBIS on behalf of all our students, parents and teachers.”

Speaking at the formal handover at the school, where he presented the appliance to teacher Yvonne Thomas, RUBIS Country Representative, Charles Archer, said the company was happy to make a contribution which will tremendously benefit all 39 students of the school.
