TeamRubis recently donated EC$500 in fuel vouchers to the Rotaract Club of Grenada to assist with their fundraising Virtual BINGO event. Charles Archer, Country Representative RUBIS said that the energy company was pleased to be a part of the initiative, commenting, “At RUBIS we are always supportive of charitable efforts and working with the Rotaract Club allows us to reach those are in need of assistance. The current pandemic has made it difficult for many families to meet their needs and their work is even more critical than ever.” Stacey Harris, President of the Rotaract Club, remarked that the past year has been a challenge for them to raise the needed funds to undertake and support their usual charitable events. She said, “This gesture of support by RUBIS will help the Club in our efforts to provide food baskets to needy families.”
RUBIS recently partnered with the Club to donate school supplies for the return to in-person schooling.
