Barbados, W.I. – June 24th, 2013 – Barbadians have another option for their liquid petroleum gas (LPG) as Rubis West Indies Limited introduced its new Composite Bottle.
Set to retail at $43.93, the new 22lb Rubigas LPG Composite Bottles, have been produced to be even lighter and more durable than the existing units. In making the announcement, Andrea Gooding, Marketing Manager, Rubis West Indies Limited confirmed, “This transparent Composite Bottle has some amazing advantages over traditional metal ones. The gas level is visible thanks to the special see-through construction and when empty, weighs about 50% less than typical steel cylinders. Their exceptional resistance to rust will also be a major benefit to consumers.” She added, “The new bottle has an ergonomic design and tip-proof base which allows for safe and easy transport by our customers.”
Miss Gooding explained the new Rubigas LPG Composite Bottle design is seamless in construction with a one-piece liner and fiberglass reinforced pressure vessel and is guaranteed not to crack under any conditions. She said, “With an attractive packaging, the bottles are also very practical and designed to be user friendly and convenient especially for our market where they are used for so many activities. The Composite Bottles are going to be very attractive for use in the home and BBQ grilling plus customers will easily be able to see the gas level, so no more running out in the middle of preparing Sunday lunch!”
While new to Barbados, these state-of-the-art bottles are sold worldwide. Rubigas LPG Composite Bottles will be available exclusively at Benthams, Eagle Hall, Garrison, Kendal Hill, Market Hill, and Sunset Crest RUBIS Service Stations.
