RUBIS Rewards Top Performers

Bridgetown: September 3rd, 2014:-

RUBIS rewarded their top regional service station retailers by celebrating their successes with an exciting and culturally enlightening visit to Paris, France.

The RUBIS Rewards and Recognition Program, implemented in 2013, identified the top performing retailers based on various standards over a one year period.  Quality of service delivery, appearance of the service station, sales volume and inventory management were all part of the judging criteria. The group of retailers representing Antigua, Barbados, Guyana, St. Lucia and St. Vincent, all received a fully expensed six day trip to Paris. The highlights of the visit included tours of two of France’s foremost tourist attractions: the legendary Louvre museum (home to Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa) and the Palace of Versailles, best known for its spectacular gardens. The group was also treated to a gourmet dinner with Christian Cochet, Chief Executive Officer, Rubis Energie.  The group was accompanied by Mauricio Nicholls, CEO, RUBIS Caribbean and Andrea Gooding, Marketing Manager, Rubis.  Mr. Nicholls explained, “We have set very high standards of service for all of our retailers across all of our Caribbean markets and the competition for the top award in each market is intense. The retailers that won the award trip to Paris worked extremely hard every day of the year paying attention to the smallest of details and excelled in all aspects of their business including sales growth, customer service and pristine appearance. They were a notch above all other retailers in each one of their markets and they have set the bar very high. For me and my wife it was a great honor to host them in a very well deserved trip to the City of Lights. It was an unforgettable experience for all”.

Ms. Gooding added, “Paris has inspired many for centuries with its iconic art, architecture and cafe culture. As the home of RUBIS, the city is of great interest to our retailers and the trip was both rewarding and beneficial to all who attended.” In 2015 the winners will travel to Las Vegas.
