The RUBIS Coverley, Kirtons and Fontabelle Service Stations were recently honoured for their consistent delivery of excellent customer service. The Coverley and Kirtons retail teams achieved the highest rating in the 2017 RUBIS Customer Pulse program, placing first and second in the ranking among all RUBIS service stations in Barbados. The RUBIS Fontabelle Service Station, which only began operations last year, received a Special Recognition award as part of the program.

The Customer Pulse program measures the quality of customer service delivered by each outlet. Stations are encouraged through a series of assessments to consistently focus on the quality and level of service offered, attentiveness to customers and the physical appearance of the station.

In accepting their award, Samantha Smith, Manager RUBIS Kirtons Service Station explained, “We take pride in our mission statement to provide our customers with a consistently high level of prompt, individualized service and impeccably maintained premises.” She added, “Once you have happy staff you will also have happy customers and we try to ensure that all of our staff are happy, safe and comfortable so that at the end of the day not only do our customers get quality service but we also get the best our staff can give.

Amina Green, RUBIS Retail Accounts Executive explained that their retailers and employees are making a concerted effort to provide customers with better, quality service. She added “There has been steady improvement in the level of service offered at all RUBIS Service Stations and this is mainly due to the tireless efforts of retailers and staff.”
