For the 8th consecutive year, Rubis West Indies Limited has sponsored the highly successful Junior Independence Tennis Tournament in Grenada. The program has grown over the years and this year in particular there were seventy-two children participating which represented an increased by seventeen students.
Bernard Wilson, President of the Grenada Lawn Tennis Association, (GLTA) thanked RUBIS for their ongoing commitment to the association and investment in the sport’s future. He explained, “We have seen several players coming through this program and then go on to represent Grenada at the regional and international level which augers well for the sport.”
Charles Archer, RUBIS Country Representative, said the energy company was delighted to provide a continued level of support to the GLTA ensuring the development of youth tennis in Grenada.
