Rubis Suriname recently presented several key pieces of equipment to the management of the Academic Hospital of Paramaribo (AZP). During the presentation, Euan Irving, Sales Manager, Rubis explained that the company had made several similar presentations of medical equipment across the region as part of its regional COVID-19 relief efforts. He said, “This donation to the AZP includes 25 non-contact infrared thermometers, 15 oxygen tank refills, 5 oxygen regulators and 20 finger pulse oximeters valued at US$4,600. We are pleased to provide the much-needed medical items as the hospital works assiduously to care for patients affected by the virus.”
Claudia Marica–Redan, CEO, AZP Hospital thanked Rubis for their timely support and presented the company with a certificate of appreciation. Earlier this year, Rubis supported the Bureau of Public Health with a supply of personal protective equipment (PPE), including 2000 KN95 masks, 2000 surgical masks and 2000 surgical gloves.
