Classes at St. Joseph’s Convent boosted by computers from Team RUBIS

Classes at St. Joseph’s Convent in Grenville are now much more effective and engaging for students after they received two new desktop computers from Team RUBIS.

The donation reaffirms RUBIS’ commitment to education and the development of young minds, addressing the significant challenge of insufficient access to computers for research and IT preparation.

RUBIS Accounts Executive, Areen Lewis, said the gesture aligned well with the company’s values, including its commitment to education and innovation.

“RUBIS is a company that is constantly evolving and improving with technology. This initiative aligns perfectly with our values, as we believe in equipping the next generation with the tools they need to thrive in a digital age,” Lewis said.

The Accounts Executive added: “The donation forms part of RUBIS’ broader commitment to investing in education and fostering innovation, ensuring that students have access to the resources that will help them succeed academically and beyond.”

St. Joseph’s Convent’s Vice Principal, Miguel Fortune, expressed his gratitude on behalf of the school and encouraged students to make the best use of the gift. “Use this as a gateway to your future,” he advised, reminding them that technology, when used wisely, can open countless doors of opportunity.
