Carolling Team RUBIS deliver joy, cheer and essential supplies for Christmas

It was a joyous Christmas in 2025 for the young and old across Grenada as the Team RUBIS carolling caravan hit the road, bringing musical cheer and gifts of hamper donations to brighten the season for children and the elderly community.

RUBIS team members joined the snazzy Christmas carollers for the RUBIS Grenada Hamper Drive, an initiative focused on bringing joy and cheer to both children and the elderly. Twenty-four hampers of food, self-care items, and other necessities were delivered to four homes, including Bel Air Home for Children and Adolescents, Dorothy Hopkin Centre for the Disabled, Chichester’s Nursing Home for the Elderly, and Grand Anse Home for the Aged.

As the melodious strains of traditional Christmas carols filled the air, managers of each home expressed heartfelt gratitude for the donations received, noting that the support would go a long way in enhancing the comfort, care, and well-being of their residents. They commended the initiative for remembering both the young and the elderly and for extending kindness during a time when it is most appreciated.

RUBIS Accounts Executive, Areen Lewis, said: “Seeing the joy on the faces of both the children and the elderly reminded us of the true impact of giving and the difference even small acts of kindness can make.”  RUBIS Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Catoria Jeremiah, also emphasised the importance of the initiative, stating: “Efforts like these are especially meaningful at this time of year, and it is something we are committed to continuing.”

The success of the initiative was supported by a full team effort from RUBIS Grenada, including staff from Sales & Marketing, Finance, Aviation, and Operations, who together demonstrated the power of collaboration and compassion in giving back to our community.
