EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Rubis Guyana inc., a company specializing in the marketing of petroleum products, is seeking to fill the vacant position of Aviation Wingman.
Responsibilities
- Gauge all tanks before receiving product and ensuring that product received complies with all applicable standards. Loads refueler according to operating standards
- Deliver fuels safely and efficiently to aircrafts and performs all required quality control tests
- Perform daily checks and inspections on mobile equipment and fixed facilities
- Comply with all health, environmental, security and safety regulations
- Update quality control records and prepares daily work documentation
- Assist in the implementation of planned maintenance programs
- Always comply with administrative policies, operating procedures, rules and regulations of RUBIS and that of the Airport Authority
Requirements
- 5 CXC’s including Mathematics and English
- A certificate/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a technical institution or industrial training centre
- 1 to 2 years’ experience (preferably mechanical) in a similar environment
- Possession of a valid Heavy Duty Vehicle license
- Computer literature with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to work within a flexible work arrangement
