Team RUBIS laptop donation to enhance CCCN caregiver training

The work of the Caribbean Center for Child Neurodevelopment (CCCN) is being strengthened with a laptop donated by Team RUBIS to support its training and coaching of caregivers of children in Grenada.

CCCN promotes healthy brain development in children by working with parents, teachers, daycare workers and other caregivers to create nurturing environments that support their growth and wellbeing.

RUBIS Accounts Executive, Catoria Emma Jeremiah, said it was an honour to support CCCN’s ongoing work.

“We are delighted to contribute this much-needed tool to help strengthen the organisation’s work and expand its reach to more individuals and families across our communities.”

Ms. Jeremiah also welcomed CCCN’s plans to extend its initiatives into secondary schools.

Accounts Executive Areen Lewis commended the team for its dedication to child development and said, “At RUBIS, we believe in the power of community partnerships and remain committed to supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.”

The laptop will help CCCN team members prepare coaching interventions for caregivers, record and analyse data, monitor outcomes and assess the impact of their work.

CCCN Grants & Funding Manager, Amanda Boldeau, said the donation comes at an important time as the organisation’s programmes continue to grow.

“This laptop will make our work much easier and more efficient, allowing team members to enter and organise information directly rather than relying heavily on manual recording and then having to transfer the information later. It will also allow us to more easily analyse the information we collect, monitor outcomes and better understand the impact of our interventions. We are very grateful to RUBIS for this timely donation and for supporting CCCN as we continue to strengthen and expand our work with children and families across Grenada.”
