Technical Contractor

Rubis West Indies Limited, a company specialising in the marketing of petroleum products, invites Expressions of Interest for a reliable and skilled Technical Contractor to support its Rubigas operations.

Portfolio

The ideal contractor will:

  • Have working knowledge of LPG systems, plumbing, and service connection layouts
  • Be able to complete all required paperwork and service invoices accurately
  • Install 50lb and 100lb LPG cylinders safely and efficiently
  • Perform service jobs, including minor repairs
  • Collect and manage defective LPG cylinders in accordance with safety standards

Required tools and equipment include:

  • Battery-operated drilling machine with hammer function
  • Concrete drill bits (5/8” × 12” and 3/16” × 4”)
  • Torch bottle with torch tip
  • Assorted screwdriver set or interchangeable bits
  • One (1) 10” or 12” pipe wrench
  • Two (2) 12” adjustable wrenches

Vehicle and safety requirements:

  • Open-back pickup with rails suitable for securing cylinders
  • Ratchet straps and a trolley for safe cylinder transport
  • Personal protective equipment, including steel-toe shoes, helmet or bump cap, and gloves
