Staff of RUBIS Guyana recently raised a toast to the Company’s 15th anniversary of operations in the country, joining celebrations that have been ongoing across other Caribbean markets.
The 15-year milestone provided an opportunity for team members to pause and reflect on the RUBIS’ journey and positive contribution to growth and development in Guyana. To mark the occasion, staff came together at the Ramsburg Terminal at Providence, East Bank Demerara, for a moment of appreciation and celebration.
Adding a festive touch to the event were two specially designed cakes, including an impressive replica of a RUBIS display booth, which was a highlight of the celebration and added to the memorable atmosphere of the occasion.
Retail Accounts Executive, Joylyn Johnson, said the gathering underscored the spirit of teamwork and unity that has supported the company’s growth and resilience over the past decade and a half.
“RUBIS Guyana is proud to have achieved fifteen years of operations and to celebrate with and also congratulate our regional counterparts. We continue to work as a team, building strong relationships with our customers and the communities. Every team member is essential to achieving service excellence, and being able to celebrate this milestone alongside many of them makes this anniversary even more special,” Johnson said.
Guyana’s celebration was one of a series of anniversary activities taking place across RUBIS markets, including several in the Eastern Caribbean. The company said the celebrations are to recognise and thank employees, customers and communities whose ongoing support has played a vital role in the company’s success over the past 15 years.
