Rubis Suriname has reinforced its commitment to inclusion and youth development with a USD $1,300 donation to the Foundation Sport, Mi Kan Du!, an organisation dedicated to empowering children of varying abilities through adaptive sports.
The presentation was made to Chairperson Chin A Fat Ruby and Deputy Chairperson Ranoesetiko Chamberlain during one of the foundation’s regular training sessions. Surrounded by smiling children and dedicated coaches, the moment captured the heart of Mi Kan Du!’s mission – to create a world where every child can play, grow, and thrive, regardless of ability.
“At RUBIS, we believe in giving back to the community and investing in organisations that empower others,” said Euan Irving, Sales Manager at RUBIS Suriname. “Mi Kan Du! is doing an amazing job to help children develop through sport.”
Mrs. Chamberlain expressed heartfelt thanks: “With the resources we have, we do our best to support and engage these children. This donation came at just the right time and will help us push forward with our plans for the rest of the year. We are truly grateful for RUBIS Suriname’s support.”
Through its programs, Mi Kan Du! not only develops children’s physical abilities, but also fosters self-esteem, social inclusion and overall well-being.
