RUBIS partners with Antigua & Barbuda Football Association to empower youth to pursue their goals

Team RUBIS is joining forces with the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association’s (ABFA) National Football Ecosystem Initiative to inspire the country’s U11-U13 boys and girls towards achieving their life goals.

That’s the strategy behind Team RUBIS’s recent donation of XCD $3500 to the ABFA. This donation will directly contribute to establishing a structured youth training environment at the ABFA Technical Centre, providing quality equipment, coaching resources, and delivering educational and life-skills programs through football.

RUBIS Accounts Executive, J’nai Spencer, said: “As an organisation that values youth empowerment and community strengthening, RUBIS is proud to partner with the ABFA through our donation to the Grassroots Programme. This contribution is made with the conviction that youth development through sport has the power to build stronger communities, and we are elated to be part of such an initiative.”

ABFA’s Technical Director, Sowerby Gomes, said the ABFA was grateful for the generous donation towards its grassroots football initiative.

“Your support plays a meaningful role in shaping the development of our young players and strengthening the future of football in our nation. We appreciate your partnership and commitment to community development,” Mr. Gomes said.

The National Football Ecosystem is Antigua and Barbuda Football Association’s development framework for U11-U13 boys and girls, and functions as a mangrove system feeding all levels of the football pyramid. The system is designed to ensure early talent identification, holistic development and the creation of a safe learning environment that nurtures not only players but future leaders.
