Team RUBIS continued its support of the vulnerable youth served by the Green Valley Behaviour Modification Facility (GVBMF) with a donation of twenty food hampers valued at GYD $300,000 during the recent holiday season.
Natasha Brown, Sales & Marketing Coordinator, said RUBIS Guyana Inc. was pleased to donate the food hampers to assist the remarkable young people of GVBMF.
“We are deeply committed to supporting and uplifting the communities we serve, and we believe in the potential of every young person. We hope this small gesture brings some joy and shows our support for their journey towards a brighter future,” Brown said.
Wendell Jeffrey, founder of the facility, said the gesture was timely and appreciated by all stakeholders.
“The Green Valley Behaviour Modification Facility wishes to thank the entire RUBIS family for their kind donation of food hampers that will bring holiday cheer to the family members this Christmas season. The board, team, and beneficiaries express our heartfelt gratitude for your kind overture.
The GVBMF is a rehabilitation initiative focused on behavioural change and reintegration for individuals (often ex-offenders) using a holistic model that includes aspects such as vocational training, education, housing support and substance-abuse assistance.
