Bonair Government School students heading to secondary school with Team RUBIS support

Twenty graduates of Bonair Government School are better prepared to begin their secondary school journey, thanks to a donation towards the purchase of essential items, including uniforms and stationery, from RUBIS Grenada in collaboration with Victoria RUBIS service station.

The XCD $6,000 donation was presented at the recent graduation ceremony as part of the school’s annual initiative aimed at easing the transition to secondary school for students requiring additional support.

RUBIS Accounts Executives, Emma Jeremiah and Areen Lewis, made the presentation and shared the following comment:

“Being RUBIS representatives and taking part in such a meaningful donation fills our hearts with pride. Seeing the joy and gratitude of the students, parents, and staff at Bonair Primary School was truly rewarding.

Through this initiative, we were able to provide school supplies to 20 students transitioning from primary to secondary school. The cheers of proud parents and the confident smiles and proud posture of the students made the experience even more special and reminded us of the positive impact that investing in education can have on our communities.”

Retailer at Victoria RUBIS, Frederick Belfon, said collaborating with RUBIS for the meaningful donation was a decision that required very little thought.

“It is imperative that we invest in our nation’s children, as they are the future of our country. We are proud to support an initiative that will have a positive and lasting impact on their lives,” Mr. Belfon said.

Kudos to Team RUBIS also came from Carlyle Salfarlie, PTA President, Bonair Government School.

“We sincerely thank RUBIS for its generous support and greatly appreciate the company’s presence at our graduation ceremony. It is through the commitment of companies like RUBIS that we are reminded there is strong community support for our young people and their development. Your contribution has made a meaningful difference, and we are grateful for your investment in the future of our students.”
