Cash Administrator
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Rubis Guyana Inc., a company specialising in the marketing of petroleum products, is seeking to fill the vacant position of Cash Administrator.
The Portfolio
The responsibilities for the position include:
- Receives purchase orders along with payment or proof of payment from customers and verifies that payment amount is correct
- Checks credit availability
- Applies payments to invoices in the system and issues the corresponding receipts
- Receives returned cheques and notifies finance and credit departments
- Completes summary sheets and prepares bank deposits during the day, as required
- Completes end-of-day procedures, including preparation of the daily payment collections summary report
- Manages petty cash funds and completes petty cash reconciliations
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Computer literacy and numeracy
- A collaborative approach and strong team-oriented focus
- Willingness to work outside of regular working hours
