EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Rubis West Indies Limited, a company specialising in the storage and marketing of petroleum products, is seeking to fill the vacant position of Inventory Administrator within our Operations department.
Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for accurately maintaining inventory balances for all products, monitoring stock movements and ensuring proper documentation for receipts, dispatches and adjustments. The role ensures timely reconciliations, compliance with reporting requirements and supports operational efficiency.
The key responsibilities for the position include:
- Perform daily stock reconciliations accurately for LPG and fuel products. Investigate and report variances timely
- Calculate daily LPG ending stocks, including receipts, dispatches, empty tickets, leakers, and cylinder movement. Book stock including adjustments for losses and gains
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Act as custodian for warehouse inventory. Compile and maintain all documentation related to product dispatch, receipts and inventory transactions
- Manage the inventory of LPG, service station and truck parts, as well as PPE
- Prepare and submit daily stock reports daily to support tanker scheduling
- Prepare and provide Government and internal reports as required
- Compile and file all inventory documentation for audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Ensure proper archiving and retrieval procedures are followed for all inventory records
- Ensure all operations follow safety policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting or similar fields
- 2 years’ minimum experience in inventory control, accounting, terminal operations or logistics (preferred)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Good communication, organisational and customer service skills
- Attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
- Team-oriented with flexible approach to work
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally if necessary
