Rubigas continues its partnership with the annual Barbados Food & Rum Festival in 2023, again under the theme “Feed the Future”, signalling its commitment to youth development, the culinary arts, and food sustainability.
Amina Green, RUBIS Retail Accounts Executive, said the company’s sponsorship mirrored the rationale behind “Feed the Future”. She made her comment while presenting a scholarship grant to the Barbados Tourism Management Inc., during a Food and Rum pop-up event held at the BTMI office carpark on Friday, September 29th.
“This scholarship grant of $5,000 will support a keen and deserving hospitality student pursuing career goals that may one day see them featured as a headline contributor to this Festival,” Green said.
She said Rubigas joins with Barbadians and fans of the Barbados Food & Rum Festival in keenly anticipating this year’s edition being held from October 19th to 22nd.
“As a sponsor and official LPG brand of Food & Rum, we know that the Festival is both an exciting and developmental experience, providing the best culinary connoisseurs that Barbados and the international community can offer. We look forward once again to the delights of the Festival, and to seeing the development of our youth in fulfilment of the Feed the Future theme.”
