Taste the Bay 2024 proved a celebration to savour as Bay Gardens Beach Resort, supported by Team RUBIS, served up a mouth-watering cocktail of cuisine and culture at its annual food festival featuring Rodney Bay’s and St. Lucia’s finest connoisseurs of culinary fare and entertainment.
It was an Easter Sunday event to remember for St. Lucians who flocked to the Lamar Waterfront, Rodney Bay to enjoy the food, fellowship and frolic.
RUBIS Assistant Account Executive, Tamika Celestin, said it was a fun family event that they were pleased to support. “Team RUBIS was happy to team up with Bay Gardens again to put on this spectacular event for families across the island. It is very important to take a break, unwind, and spend time with those who matter to us, and we are happy to be part of an experience that brings loved ones together.”
Taste The Bay is a cultural immersion of diverse culinary tastes and experiences from restaurants in the Bay area. Restaurants like La Mesa, Razmataz and Spices, among others, were available for patrons to try their delectable cuisine.
The day’s festivities also included stilt dancing, which thoroughly entertained the large crowd. Patrons also bridged the generation gap with a variety of retro games that older St. Lucians remember from their childhood and that the younger generation can now experience.
