Cool RUBIS donation ensures food safety at Lowmans Leeward Anglican Primary School

Food safety at the Lowmans Leeward Anglican Primary School is in good order following the donation of a new refrigerator by Team RUBIS, helping the school maintain proper storage of food and refreshments for its students and staff.

At a presentation on Friday, October 9, 2026, RUBIS Country Representative Elroy Edwards said the company was pleased to make a practical contribution that would support the school’s daily operations and help ensure food and refreshments are stored safely.

Edwards was particularly impressed by the humility shown by the school in their request for assistance. 

“When I learned that the school was willing to accept even a used refrigerator, I was moved by the extent of the need. It made me appreciate how important this appliance was to the school’s daily operations. We were happy that RUBIS could donate a new refrigerator to the benefit of the students and staff,” Edwards said.

Speaking on behalf of the school, representative, Nicole Parris expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting it would make a positive difference in the lives of the students and staff.
