RUBIS continues its golden support for Walk for the Cure

RUBIS kept up its golden support of the CIBC Walk for the Cure as a Gold Sponsor for the fourth consecutive year, joining businesses, community organisations, individuals and families for the 15th staging of the initiative in Antigua.

The annual event was held this year on 3rd October. It remains an important platform for raising awareness about cancer, encouraging early detection and demonstrating solidarity with individuals and families affected by the disease.

Proceeds from the CIBC Walk for the Cure go directly to Breast Friends of Antigua and the Oncology Department of the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, supporting efforts to assist cancer patients, survivors and their families.

Commenting on RUBIS’ continued participation, J’nai Spencer, Accounts Executive at RUBIS, said: “Our continued sponsorship reflects RUBIS’ commitment to supporting meaningful community initiatives and contributing to causes that positively impact the lives of individuals and families across Antigua and Barbuda. The 15th staging of the walk represents a significant milestone, and we commend CIBC for their continued dedication to this worthy cause. We look forward to supporting future initiatives that contribute to the well-being of the communities in which we operate.”

RUBIS’ sponsorship underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to partnering with organisations that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
