Grazettes Primary Breakfast Program gets a fill-up from RUBIS

A collaborative effort by teachers, parents, and support staff at Grazettes Primary School to ensure that every student starts each day with the nutrition they need to succeed is going full steam ahead with a $4000 fill-up from RUBIS.

The donation to the School’s Breakfast Program is part of RUBIS’ ongoing effort to invest in the well-being and future of young learners, fulfilling the educational pillar of its corporate social responsibility roadmap. The funds will also go toward meeting other important needs of students who require support. In addition, Team RUBIS provided school supplies including lunch bags, exercise books, pencil cases and pencils to further assist students on their learning journeys.

Mellissa Broomes, Brand Marketing Specialist, stated that RUBIS was delighted to positively impact communities and young people.

“It’s an honour to contribute to the Grazettes Primary School breakfast program and to play a part in an initiative so lovingly managed by the school’s dedicated staff. Together, we can help make a positive difference in the lives of these young students.

“We’re also proud to support Grazettes Primary School by donating school supplies, helping equip students with the tools they need to learn and grow. Investing in education is investing in the future and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.”

Mrs. Collette Applewhaite, Principal of Grazettes Primary School, expressed her appreciation, stating that the donation enhances the school’s capacity to provide a nutritious breakfast and other vital support to students who need it most, ensuring they are ready to learn, grow, and excel.

“This contribution to the Grazettes Primary School Breakfast Program and Benevolent Fund is more than financial support – it is an investment in the well-being and success of our students. We are beyond grateful for the generosity of RUBIS to our school.

“At Grazettes, we believe that nurturing a child’s potential begins with ensuring their basic needs are met. This initiative is a true whole-school effort, with our dedicated teachers, ancillary staff, and parents working together to create a warm, supportive environment where every child can thrive. When we uplift our children, we empower them to reach their full potential — and with the help of valued partners like RUBIS, that vision becomes a reality.”
