Team RUBIS providing water stop to keep Chefette fun runners hydrated

Team RUBIS is on the road again with the Chefette Fun Run in 2025, providing another water stop to ensure that fun runners can stay hydrated along the route from Chefette Rockley to the finish at Chefette Fontabelle.

Sunday, June 8th, at 4:00 p.m., is the date that spectators and participants have marked in their calendars to enjoy the colour, fun, and frolic of the eagerly anticipated annual fundraiser.

Accounts Executive, Amina Green, said RUBIS, a long-standing partner of the Chefette Fun Run since 2017, is delighted to continue its support and pleased with the event’s community impact. She said the RUBIS-sponsored water stop would be situated in front of the Garrison RUBIS Service Station.

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Chefette Fun Run, an initiative that aligns with Rubis’s dedication to supporting and investing in the communities we serve. Supporting fundraising efforts like this strengthens community ties and contributes to meaningful causes that create a lasting, positive impact where it’s needed most,” Green said.

Over 5000 runners participated in last year’s event, raising $130,000 for charity. Proceeds from this year’s run will go to charities including the Aunty Olga Needy Children’s Fund, Variety Children’s Charity, The Precious Touch Foundation and the YWCA Breakfast Program.
