RUBIS celebrated the work of four charities as part of their recently concluded Win With RUBIS fuel promotion. A component of each grand prize was a $1000 donation to a registered charity. Each grand prize winner selected their charity of choice and the donations took place recently.
Grand prize winner Toni Holder chose The Autism Association of Barbados as her charity. Asha Yearwood decided to support Keratoconus Barbados. Shanesia Bruce chose the Barbados Association for the Correction of Learning Disabilities and Ricardo Payne supported the Kiwanis Young Professionals.
Andrea Gooding, RUBIS Marketing Manager, explained that the company was delighted to introduce a philanthropic element to the 2020 promotion. She said, βThe pandemic has been particularly challenging for charities and their fundraising work. Our winners were able to enjoy their prizes while at the same time paying it forward by giving to an organisation in need. We are pleased to contribute to the good work that these charities do.β
