The Christmas wishes of scores of deserving Barbadian children came true as RUBIS continued its support of the Christmas Cheer programme hosted by Sheraton Centre.
The annual programme, which hosts close to 100 children drawn from children’s homes across Barbados for a day of fun and shopping, marked its 23rd anniversary in 2022.
Presenting the donation of BDS$2000 to representatives of the Christmas Cheer programme, Sharese Yarde, Accounts Executive said RUBIS was pleased to continue its support for the programme which provided a dual-purpose benefit for the children.
“RUBIS has participated in this program since 2018, and we are pleased to continue our contribution to this worthwhile initiative which is an opportunity to share joy to the children during the Christmas season. It is a great source of excitement for the children, and provides them with essential clothing and other necessities.”
