RUBIS Guyana recently celebrated the opening of its 10th service station at Strathspey, East Coast Demerara.
The opening of the state-of-the-art station was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the presence the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Persaud and their family, customers, staff and key Rubis personnel. As part of the first day celebrations, sixteen customers received $2000 in Ultra Tec fuel. In addition, during the first week of operations fueling customers received gifts such as umbrellas, car visors, hand sanitizers and hats along with the first 30 Rubigas customers receiving a free regulator.
In congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Persaud for their tenacity in making the facility a reality, Joylyn Johnson, Retail Accounts Executive, Rubis Guyana said that the company was proud of the investment made in partnership with the retailers to provide a modern service station which would serve customers, not only in the Strathspey community, but those further afield. She confirmed this was the second service station Rubis has opened in the past three years, which demonstrates the company’s commitment to Guyana and its development. She continued, “Rubis has been the harbinger of providing Pure95 gasoline in Guyana and is the owner of the Ultra Tec technology – a fuel additive that was specifically developed to improve the performance of vehicles. Fueling at Rubis is not just transactional but an experience that invites you to come again.”
Retailer, Martin Persaud, was overjoyed at the opening of this new location, stating, “Partnering with Rubis has been a success since the initial introduction and it allowed us to pave the path towards this achievement. Our aim is to provide professional and quality service to customers while providing job opportunities for the community, making them a part of the Rubis family. We appreciate the support from all around and look forward to a safe and positive future with our new venture.”
The Rubis Strathspey station has a team of seven employees and offers Pure95 with Ultra Tec gasoline, Ultra Tec diesel, kerosene, Rubigas and Total Lubricants. There is also a spacious supermarket for added convenience.
