Historic hat trick for Melville Street RUBIS in Customer Pulse Awards

Melville Street RUBIS, St. George’s completed a hat trick of customer service wins with first place in the 2024 RUBIS Customer Pulse Program, which educates and monitors service levels at RUBIS stations.This historic win has raised the service excellence bar, firmly establishing Melville Street RUBIS as the standard bearer for its counterparts and customer service excellence across the sector. Perdmontemps RUBIS, St. David took 2nd place.

Retailer of both stations, Earl Carter, was delighted with the accomplishment. Speaking on Melville Street’s win, he stated, “I want to express my gratitude and pride in the incredible teamwork you’ve demonstrated throughout the year. Your collaboration, support for one another, and dedication to achieving our goals have been nothing short of inspiring. Each of you has contributed uniquely to our successes, and it’s this collective effort that has driven our progress and accomplishments.” Commenting on Perdmontemps’ 2nd place, he said more could be expected of them in 2025. “This is a significant accomplishment that reflects your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. While the top spot might have been the goal, your performance and determination have shown that you are a team of remarkable talent and resilience.”

Under the Customer Pulse program, service standards at RUBIS stations across the Eastern Caribbean are measured quarterly through mystery shops and regular staff training.
