RUBIS Grenada Supports Blended Learning

COVID-19 has resulted in a blended approach to the delivery of education worldwide. To this end, RUBIS recently made a donation of 25 Lembook Digital Textbooks to the Ministry of Education to facilitate their national school e-learning online programmes.

During the presentation, Charles Archer, RUBIS Country Manager said, “We are pleased to assist students not only in the completion of the syllabuses for their exams, but also to empower members of the community, through training and developmental programmes and this remains inspiring to us.” He added, “You can be assured RUBIS is always looking for valid reasons to provide assistance to a wide cross-section of our society.”

The Hon Emmalin Pierre, Minister of Education expressed appreciation to the energy company for their contribution. She explained, “This support will be remembered for a very long time in education.” She continued, “That one of our stakeholders has recognised the importance of supporting this initiative by the Government is heartening and will allow us to expand our programme.” RUBIS also donated vital PPE to the Ministry of Health and provide cash donations to the Grenada Association of Retired Persons as well as the Grenada National Council of the Disabled as part of their COVID relief efforts.
