Team RUBIS celebrates 10th Christmas hamper drive

Team RUBIS marked its 10th year of sharing the spirit of the Christmas season with St. Lucians through its annual Christmas Hamper initiative, personally delivering essential hampers to Villa St Joseph Elderly Home, Rise St. Lucia, Dennery Falcons, and several families across the island.

To top off the decade of giving, Team RUBIS staff embarked on a special mission, visiting communities from north to south to distribute hampers filled with nutritious, non-perishable food items. The initiative ensured that the families could share in the joy and comfort of a holiday meal during the festive season.

Tamika Celestin, RUBIS Assistant Accounts Executive, said: “We didn’t just want to send the hampers; we wanted to share the human connection and warmth of the season. Visiting families personally across St. Lucia was the most rewarding part. Seeing the smiles and gratitude firsthand truly embodies our commitment to fuelling more than just vehicles but fueling hope and community.”

The hampers contained vital staples such as rice, pasta, canned goods, cooking oil, and breakfast items, providing meaningful nutritional support.

The annual hamper drive reflects RUBIS St. Lucia’s enduring dedication to corporate social responsibility and its core belief in giving back to the communities it serves. By delivering the hampers directly to doorsteps, the team strengthened bonds and delivered a powerful message of care and solidarity.
